We installed an ADvantage update (8.3.1), and tried to rebuild a project by clicking on the .adv file to open ADvantageDE and then selecting the build. We get an error that one of the ADI defined variables is undeclared. How can I fix this?
Answer: This implies that the new version is not properly registered. After the installation, to register the new version:
Bring up ADvantageDE from the Desktop or Start Menu, rather than by clicking on the .adv file.
